An original stone house in central Istria
Located away from the city crowds and noise, in the heart of the village Markovići is Villa Emilia, an old Istrian stone house completely renovated in 2018. The building was built in the late 19th century. Our grandmother Emilija was born in this house, so we named the holiday house after her. But even though it is located in the heart of the village it allows you complete privacy with a fenced yard. The location is favourable because it is located in central Istria, only 17 km from Porec, one of the largest Istrian tourist pearls, but also other cities such as Motovun, Pazin, etc.

Villa Emilia is surrounded by wine roads. Only 2 km from the house you can find top award-winning wines from wineries Rossi, Marijan Arman, Franc Arman, Sošić, Pilato, etc. And for lovers of good food, there are Konoba Jadruhi, Agrotourism Selo Mekiši just to name a few restaurants in the area. In addition, there is the possibility of taking advantage of discounts from local manufacturers with the Vižinada Experience Card.
Villa Emilia, is located in the village Markovići which belongs to the Municipality of Vižinada. Vižinada is mentioned as early as Roman times, when Via Flavia passed through this area. It is known as the home of Carlotte Grisi, the Parenzana railway, numerous cultural monuments, frescoes, wells and natural beauty. Rich in cycling and hiking trails, it is ideal for cycling and hiking enthusiasts.

Holiday house Villa Emilia is an ideal place for a family vacation. In front of the house is a private parking space with space for 2 vehicles. Behind the house is a yard with a swimming pool, deck chairs and an additional a summer kitchen with barbeque. Villa Emilia consists of 3 bedrooms each with a private bathroom, a kitchen, dining rooms and living room. The kitchen is fully equipped which includes cooking utensils, refrigerator, freezer, induction cooker, dishwasher, microwave, kettle, various coffee machines and toaster. The whole house is air conditioned.
